Junge Mathematikerinnen in ihrer Begabung fördern und mit Gleichgesinnten und Vorbildern vernetzen - das ist das Ziel der European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad. Vom 11. bis 17. April fand die 13. EGMO in Georgien statt. Drei der vier Schweizer Teilnehmerinnen wurden mit Bronze ausgezeichnet.
Linguistics
Fast 80 Jugendliche haben Anfang März am Finale der dritten Schweizer Linguistik-Olympiade teilgenommen - nun stehen die Resultate fest. Für die vier Gewinnerinnen und Gewinner der Goldmedaillen geht das Abenteuer damit erst so richtig los.

Am 6. April wurden die besten Mathematikerinnen und Mathematiker der Schweizer und Liechtensteiner Mittelschulen ausgezeichnet. Gold ging an Andrej Ševera vom Collège Voltaire (GE) und an Felix Xu von der Kantonsschule Wettingen (AG). Ausserdem wurden vier Silber- und sechs Bronzemedaillen verliehen
