Biology

  • 14. - 19. 04. 2020 The biology final is cancelled, the IBO team will be chosen based on the results of the second round. A meetup for the best 20 of the second round is planned later this summer.

  • 03. - 11. 07. 2020 International Biology Olympiad (IBO 2020) in Nagasaki: The exams will be conducted remotely on August 11 and 12.

 

Chemistry

  • 20. - 22. 03. 2020 Theoretical weekend of the chemistry olympiad has been moved online. 

  • 13. - 18. 04 .2020  Chemistry final week: The theoretical part was conducted digitally, the practical part was cancelled.

  • 07. - 16. 07. 2020International Chemistry Olympiad in Istanbul will be held online.

  • 14. + 15. 03. 2020 Physics final at the Neue Kantonsschule Aarau is postponed to the 6th of June and will be held digitally.

  • 16. 05. 2020 The Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad took place online.

  • 02. - 06. 06. 2020 The European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO 2020) in Satu Mare, Romania, will be held digitally from July 20 to 26.

  • 17. – 26. 07. 2020 The International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2020) in Vilnius will be postponed to July 2021.

  • 17. 04. 2020 Economics-Final (Assessment Top 10 UBS) will be postponed to June 19

  • 21. - 30. 07. 2020 International Economics Olympiad (IEO 2020) in Kasachstan will be postponed to at least September and conducted digitally.

The Global Quarantine Mathematical Olympiad is looking for volunteers

The Global Quarantine Mathematical Olympiad promises two weekends in May full of mathematical challenges. The online competition was launched by volunteers of the Swiss Mathematical Olympiad and has already gathered close to 2000 international participants. Now, GQMO is looking for volunteers!

Students from all around the globe prove their knowledge in the areas of Financial Literacy, Economics and Business. The Business Case represents the highlight of the competition and completes this unique experience.
