Souvenirs: Nicolà, Physik-Olympiade

Zur Feier des 20-jährigen Jubiläums der Wissenschafts-Olympiade zeigen Volunteers ihre liebsten Souvenirs. Im vierten Teil treffen wir Nicolà. Sein Volleyball erinnert ihn an die Internationale Physik-Olympiade 2022, die er mitorganisiert hat.

Ich habe 2016 an der Internationalen Physik-Olympiade in Zürich teilgenommen. Mittlerweile bin ich Präsident der Schweizer Physik-Olympiade. 2022 fiel die zuerst in Belarus geplante IPhO aus, und wir von der Schweizer Physik-Olympiade haben es auf uns genommen, eine virtuelle Alternative zu organisieren. Wir wollten uns aber nach zwei Jahren Pandemie auch persönlich treffen können. Daher gab es verschiedene Camps, eines davon haben wir mit acht anderen Delegationen in Dänemark organisiert. Die Teilnehmenden haben dort teilweise mehr internationale Kontakte geknüpft als bei einer typischen IPhO, weil im Camp alle mit angepackt und sich so kennengelernt haben. Am Schluss haben mir die Teilnehmenden und die anderen Volunteers diesen von ihnen unterschriebenen Ball geschenkt.

Beim Fest am 14. September werden die Souvenirs ausgestellt.
