International Biology Olympiad 2013
Bern, Switzerland
550 participants from 64 countries travelled to Bern for the 24th International Biology Olympiad IBO. From the 14th to the 21st of July 2013, the best young talents in biology participated in a high-level competition and exchanged ideas while they discovered Switzerland and the local culture.
Organizers
IBO 2013 was hosted by the following two institutions: Science Olympiad Switzerland (with its member, the Swiss Biology Olympiad) and University of Bern (with its Department of Biology).
Final report
In order to share our gained expertise, we decided to write an extensive and transparent final report that not only focuses on the analysis of the data, but also summarizes our experience with the organization as a whole. We hope it will help future organizers.

We were committed to delivering sound and interesting exams of high quality: Practical Exams, Theoretical Exams, Ranking.
