Often referred to as the ‘Swiss Nobel Prize’, this year’s Swiss Science Prize Marcel Benoist goes to Ursula Keller for her groundbreaking work in short-time laser physics. This year’s Swiss Science Prize Latsis is awarded to Kerstin Noëlle Vokinger for her interdisciplinary research activities in the fields of law, medicine and technology.
As an Olympiad Alumnus / SJf Alumnus you can be close to the action! The Marcel Benoist Foundation for the second time invites alumni of Swiss Youth in Science (SJf) and the Science Olympiads (WO) to attend a workshop with the prize winners before the award ceremony (read more in our Reportage 2021).
There, you will gain insight into the winners' field of research and discuss with them how the results of their research can change tomorrow's world! Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, chair of the Marcel Benoist Foundation, and Professor Denis Duboule, chair of the Latsis Foundation, will present the awards.
